On Tuesday 26 March Darcey Black, Translational Science Director at TherapeutAix, will be co-organising and co-sharing the SMR meeting taking place at Friends House, London.
This SMR meeting follows on from the 2022 conference on ‘Innovative new pharma and biotech partnerships: How is the landscape transforming?’ and its goal is to better understand these evolutionary trajectories and look at the further developments in the discovery space as well as introduce the role of the academic research discovery sector.
The meeting is focused on ‘The Innovation Landscape’ and aims to explore the developments and changes that have taken place in the life sciences sector recently, including valuation readjustments, AI driven R&D, M&As and financing challenges.
Presentations at the event will highlight the discovery and development taking place in academic settings and will explore the collaboration between academic, biotech and pharma. The meeting will also revisit the latest roles for charity and venture funding in driving the development of next generation therapeutics.
Darcey will be chairing Session 2, which will explore topics related to ‘Funding an Innovation Landscape’ and will hear from speakers from Medicines Discovery Catapult and Pioneer Group.
